Metin2 character-window skin for client administrators
A data-only characterwindow.py layout and supplied artwork, with Character, Skills, Emotions and Quests pages. Intended for administrators adapting a legacy Metin2 client with an existing working uicharacter.py controller. This is not a complete official client or a server system. Conqueror/passive-looking controls in this design are decorative images: this download does not implement those mechanics.

M2City r1 corrections
The supplied SUB files refer to shared Windows.dds/tabchar.tga atlases. The reviewed overlay places the 41 actually referenced SUBs and two atlases under an isolated m2city/character-layout pack directory, then rewrites the references. Installing it does not require replacing your global Windows.dds and changing unrelated windows. All 202 original SUB records were checked against the supplied atlas dimensions; unrelated original artwork is retained in the original archive, outside the install overlay.
Repeated TitleName children now have unique names while retaining the first TitleName for compatibility. The board height and tab container now cover the actual 253x37 tab artwork. Status/skill subcontainers fit their principal page, vertical centering uses the real 412px window height, and garbled character/guild placeholders are blank until the controller supplies the real names. Main functional child names and skill IDs remain unchanged.

Install and verify on your branch
Back up the current layout and pack manifests. Copy only reviewed/ assets to their matching isolated pack path. Install or merge the layout at the location your existing controller loads, commonly uiscript/characterwindow.py or locale/<language>/ui/characterwindow.py. Read INSTALL.txt before merging; do not replace ui.py or uicharacter.py with files from another branch.
The existing controller must bind the four pages, title closes, stat +/- controls, skill groups and quest scrolling. Compare its GetChild names with the 149 elements. Existing standard quest/public slot textures are prerequisites, explicitly listed in tests.json. The design has 27 active skill slots, an 18-cell support grid and five visible quest entries; these must agree with your branch. Long translations, right-to-left layout and large stat values require an actual client check.
Stage-test all tabs, skill groups, emotions, quest scrolling, tooltips, stat changes, close/Escape and reconnect. No new networking, authentication, stat limits or database migration is introduced. Rollback restores the previous layout and removes only the isolated artwork directory.

Validation and limits
Both supplied text files were reviewed; 202 SUB configurations and their source rectangles were checked, and 15 supplied images decoded. Synthetic checks pass at 800x600, 1024x768, 1280x720 and 1920x1080 for unique names, principal panel bounds, referenced supplied files, slot IDs/bounds and isolated paths. Portable test source is included. The preview is a contact sheet of supplied artwork, not an in-game screenshot.
No native game rendering, actual button dispatch, controller integration or complete client build was tested. This is a reviewed layout kit with explicit dependencies, not a claim that every client fork is compatible.

Provenance and credit
The owner supplied official_interface.rar and confirmed redistribution. Related historical sharing by hasanmacit: Official Karakter Ekrani, 11 July 2021. That discussion contains this layout family; original artwork authorship and the exact archive revision are not independently established. The unmodified archive is retained with its notices. M2City authored the r1 corrections and validation; no blanket open-source licence is asserted.
