Actual behavior
Two client-source merge fragments define ENABLE_MOB_APPEARANCE and apply SetScaleWorld in CInstanceBase creation for explicit race/VNUM ranges. The presets scale selected models between 0.6 and 3.0. Examples include race 272 at 2.5, races 191 through 194 at 3.0 and race 9296 at 0.6. These numbers describe the supplied mapping, not universal mob identities across private server protos.

What it does not change
This is not a transformation system, mob_proto editor or server-side combat rebalance. Visual scaling does not prove corresponding changes to server collision, attack range, hitboxes, selection bounds, effect attachment or mount alignment. Inspect those separately in your actual branch.

Integration
Merge the define into the client build configuration and the guarded block after the indicated CInstanceBase initialization calls. Check each VNUM against your own mob_proto and race-data paths before enabling the presets. An unmapped race receives no SetScaleWorld call from this fragment; preserve the normal scale initialization and any existing custom size system in your client. Test model creation, respawn, teleport, effect attachments, picking and feature-disabled builds. Do not paste this short fragment over the entire InstanceBase.cpp.

Review outcome
Both source fragments were read and retained unchanged; no confirmed code defect was patched. The scaling fragment compiled with a fake GraphicThingInstance and passed boundary examples plus finite/bounded values over all race IDs 0 through 65535. The test does not validate meshes, animation or game physics. Original Nolan comments and the supplied collection provenance remain in the package; an exact upstream release or supported branch was not established.

Rights: Public redistribution confirmed by owner; upstream notices retained. No blanket open-source relicensing.
Validation: Unchanged scaling fragment compiled under C++11 with a fake GraphicThingInstance. Explicit range boundaries and all race IDs 0..65535 produced finite scales from 0.6 to 3.0. No GR2 rendering, collisions, mount alignment or full client build tested.
