An original project by Karbust
This unmodified MIT-licensed snapshot contains an Electron patcher built with React and TypeScript. Upstream describes SHA-256-based file comparison and asynchronous downloads. It is a source template requiring configuration and a build, not a compiled updater ready for a live client.

Locate the configuration first
In src/config.ts, patchlistUrl identifies the update manifest and patchlistFolder identifies the download base. The template also exposes slider URLs, serverName, binaryName, configName, launchParameters and optional locale.cfg updates. Replace the placeholder URLs and review the launch settings against your own client layout. Follow the upstream README and lockfile for its build workflow; M2City has not installed its dependencies or validated a current toolchain for this snapshot.

A small staging exercise
Before pointing any updater at a real client directory, prepare a disposable folder and a small update set. Check which files the manifest names, which bytes are downloaded, the resulting hashes and the configured executable/arguments. Repeat with one deliberately changed file and keep the expected result. File comparison is not proof of compatibility with your client branch or of the origin of a remote manifest.

Source and validation
The pinned source retains LICENSE.md and its author credits. M2City verified the 61-file archive inventory, ZIP integrity, size and SHA-256. No executable, dependency installation, build or update was run. See the catalogue for the download checksum. Share configuration questions with placeholder URLs and a synthetic manifest rather than private server credentials.
