An adaptation with specific fixes
This MIT-licensed adaptation builds on Owsap Productions' OX quest at revision 30f7f7af779fb4127d1328c0f6fa75eefabe0640. The original source and licence remain in the ZIP alongside the changed quest and a reviewable patch.

What changed
The announcement helper is now included inside the quest, so its three calls no longer depend on a missing notice_multiline function. Weekday translation keeps its working variable local. Event cleanup rearms the automatic scheduler when enabled, and a remembered scheduled minute prevents reopening the same slot after cleanup.

Install on a test copy
Back up your current quest and disable automatic scheduling while changing files. Install only ox_event.lua; the upstream copy is a reference. Review rewards, English weekday keys, server timezone, NPCs 20011/20358 and map coordinates. Compile with your branch's quest compiler and registered functions. Use one designated event core/channel: this patch does not implement distributed locking or active-event restart recovery.

Check player entry, gate closing, quiz progression, rewards, GM controls, cleanup and the next scheduled opening before enabling it publicly. The original quiz and reward implementation is otherwise retained. Existing OX functions, map and question data are required.

What was actually tested
36 assertions passed in Lua 5.1.5 against the actual extracted helper, cleanup and scheduler logic, with mocked engine functions and a controlled clock. Cases cover literal line-separator splitting, empty lines, percent signs, global-variable isolation, enabled/disabled scheduling, same-slot suppression and a later weekly opening. The ZIP includes the test and extracted functions for reproduction.

This is not a quest-compiler or in-game test. Full quiz progression, concurrency, persistence and gameplay remain unverified. No server/client binaries or game assets are included.
